Our flatpack timber stair kits come with everything you need to create the perfect staircase for your home.
Compliant with Australian Standards, our staircases come in a variety of custom options from 1 step to a maximum of 18 steps before a landing is required. The width of the steps is determined by you, so that you can ensure your steps align to your doors or balcony opening.
Offering the ultimate in DIY convenience, simply fill out our stair kit form and we will custom build your stair treads and stringers.
Each stair kit comes flat packed with the steps cut to size, the holes are pre-drilled for you to simply run the bugles together with the timber treads and stringers to put the staircase together. To save on shipping and cost to you, the stair kit does not include standard hardware components that many homeowners will already have. Should you need anything extra to build our stairs; it will be readily available from your local hardware store.
Utilising quality timber, our treated pine h3 timber stairs are designed to be durable, look great and with our simple instructions, novice builders can put them together.
If you would prefer, we can offer an installation service. In addition to this, we can offer handrails as a special order, which we do recommend if your steps exceed more than a meter height.
Within our stair kit, the Stringers included are 240x45mm h3 Treated Pine. They come routered, ready for the inserts of the timber steps sized 240x45mm with rounded step fronts. Our factory is located in Hornsby and we can often build and have your stair kit ready for you within a few days.
When you receive your stair kit or once your staircase is installed, we suggest giving them it a coat of oil or paint to further enhance their lifespan. If you are going to paint them, it is very important that the routered section, of the stringers are painted prior to the installation of the treads.
